Who is BC?
Brad Cook brings over 15 years of industry experience to the table. His journey in the automotive world began at the age of 18, working for a variety of new and used car dealerships. Over the years, Brad has advanced from a cadet to a general sales manager, representing top brands such as Ford, Holden, Mazda, Hyundai, Toyota, Mitsubishi, & Jeep, gaining extensive knowledge and expertise in each.
In addition to his experience in cars, Brad has also explored used and new truck sales and has spent time as a truck driver, giving him a well-rounded perspective on the industry. His passion for vehicles doesn't stop at cars and trucks; Brad is also experienced in boat sales and is an avid fisherman in Western Port Bay.
Brad’s fascination with anything that has an engine started at a young age. Today, he dedicates much of his spare time to researching and learning about new vehicles on the market, evaluating their pros and cons, and comparing them to other models. His deep-rooted passion and continuous pursuit of knowledge makes him a true expert in the field.

There are several factors that influence the price a dealership will sell a car for, including supply and demand, dealer incentives, bonuses on finance, trade-ins, aftermarket options, and the dealership’s sales and negotiation processes. Ultimately, it often comes down to who you know and what you know.
With nearly 20 years in the industry, I have connections at almost every brand of dealership. Not only sales managers and dealer principals, but also owners of large dealership networks. These relationships give me insight into pricing that most salespeople don’t even have access to, allowing me to negotiate from a more informed position.
In private sales, it’s my years of experience, market knowledge, and understanding of vehicles that enable me to find the best deals and negotiate effectively on your behalf.

It’s always a good idea to do some research and get an idea of what vehicles are worth. However, if you’ve already inquired with a dealership and received a price, it can sometimes make it harder for me to negotiate on your behalf. Due to dealership etiquette, even if I can secure the same car at a lower price via my contacts, you are essentially “claimed” by a salesperson, and out of fairness to them, there might be less flexibility on pricing.
For this reason, it’s best to contact me before speaking with any dealerships. That said, if you have already received a price, I’ll still likely be able to get you a better deal, though it may not be as competitive as if we had connected before you spoke to anyone.
